Challenge & Part 3………..

Decided this week as the card challenge on Scrapbook Sisters blog is themed for the male to combine it with Part 3 of my digi stamps launch.

This is the card made for the challenge using the zipped sweatshirt & T shirt.

I ran the sweatshirt image through a Tim Holtz embossing folder and coloured with peeled paint distress ink pad.

Boys Digi cards 002I used a second image to colour and cut out for the fold back of the sweatshirt and laid some cord underneath that was salvaged from a carrier bag I had. Nothing goes to waste!

Boys Digi cards 004I coloured the T-shirt and the ‘RISK ‘ graffiti and added some clear gems, colouring with a copic/ promarker to match the background colour. Stuck the graffiti to the front of the T-shirt.

Boys Digi cards 003The T-shirt can slide in and out of the sweatshirt revealing your message.

This 2nd card the boy is matted onto a background paper.

Boys Digi cards 033I have added the wording to the background paper and used the faux stitching to highlight it (I’m too lazy to get the sewing machine out)

New Digi stamps…

I’ve been busy with my new Digi stamps launched at my class. It all started with a card I made for my sons 18th birthday last year. Typical teenager – XBox and Skating, so I decided to create a card around that theme. This is the original card.

and this is the card I made for the class and a sample of the first set of images aimed at the boys.

Boys Digi cards 011The images were coloured with copics, cut out and layered onto the backing paper.

Boys Digi cards 013Some leather cord   for the console/ controller connection.

Boys Digi cards 016Julie has put all of the digis and card samples on disc for sale over at Scrapbook Sisters. You can resize the images to whatever size card you wish to make. This disc caters for all ages of boys with the various images and can be adapted for the man in your life and even girls as i will show in later posts this week.

I hope you like them.
